PLEASE NOTE:
As a guest of our holiday park, we hope that you have a great time with us and enjoy yourselves to the fullest. To make sure that everyone who stays with us has an excellent time, we have the following terms and conditions which you are legally bound by for the duration of your stay here at Southleigh Manor.
Please read the following to make sure that you understand and are familiar with them.

LEGAL MATTERS
DAMAGE TO THE SITE
Anyone found defacing or causing damage to any buildings, equipment or property of the park faces immediate eviction and prosecution. The pitch-hirer will be responsible for and will be charged for any damage / breakages or loss caused by themselves or their visitors to the pitch or to any park facilities or to other guest’s property.

LOSS, DAMAGE AND INJURY
Your vehicles and their accessories and contents are left at your own risk. Staff and agents shall not be liable for the loss or theft of, or damage to, any property whilst they remain in Southleigh Manor Holiday Park; nor for any injury, accident or mishap to any person in the park, unless the same be caused or contributed to by any negligence or default on the part of the employees and agents. Customers must ensure that their property is secure and fully insured for any unforeseen eventuality.

BOOKING CONDITIONS
All customers must comply with our booking conditions. Arrival is permitted from 3pm and must be vacated by 10am on the day of departure. Campers are requested to respect others on-site and should not do anything that could lessen their enjoyment.

CANCELLATION:
Please take holiday insurance to cover any eventuality.
No refunds or discounts for late arrivals, early departures or weather conditions.

STAFF ABUSE
Physical or verbal abuse will not be tolerated to any members of staff and we will not hesitate to report any such incidents to the police.

USE OF SITE
Campers must keep their pitches and facilities in a clean and tidy condition during their stay and leave the pitch and facilities in the condition in which they would wish to find them.

BBQs
Are allowed, but only a free standing BBQ can be put on the grass. For disposable BBQs please ask at Reception where you will be provided with a couple of bricks to place your BBQ on top of. This is so the grass does not get burnt.

REPORTING ACCIDENTS AND EMERGENCIES
Please ensure that you immediately report any injury that has happened whilst on the park to any of your party to Reception.

LOST PROPERTY
Any items found on the park are to be handed into Reception, where they can be reunited with their owners.

RECYCLING AND WASTE DISPOSAL
We have bins for cardboard, glass, plastic and tins, so please recycle accordingly. These bins are solely used for each purpose – please do not put food waste or the wrong items in the wrong bins. These bins are emptied every fortnight unless the park is particularly busy, in which case it will be weekly instead.

CHEMICAL DISPOSAL
The Chemical Disposal point is situated behind the toilet block, with the entrance gate located by the washing-up area. It is sign-posted; lift up the hatch and pour any chemical waste down it. There is also a tap in that area specifically used to rinse and wash-out after; please do not use the taps in the washing-up area. Please wash your hands afterwards in the sinks available in the toilet block.

WASHING-UP AREA
These sinks are used for washing-up crockery, cutlery etc. and not for washing your hands or used for drinking water. Please make sure all food waste is cleared off beforehand using the bowls provided, as this helps reduce water usage.

SANITARY WASTE
Sanitary bins are provided in the Ladies Toilets and in the toilet in the main amenities. There is a bin in each Gents and Ladies Toilets to put dirty nappies and rubbish in. There is a baby changing table in the Ladies Toilets and paper bags to put used sanitary products into, before disposing them in the bins provided.

CLEANING OPERATIONS
The Toilet Block will be checked hourly – please report to Reception if they are not in a satisfactory condition.

USE OF FACILITIES AND AMENITIES

ELECTRICITY
If anyone is found to be using electrical points whilst payment has not been received to do so, our staff have the right to disconnect the electrical supply. If any power supply problems are experienced please contact Reception.

WATER
Please be aware that the hot tap water is extremely HOT in the washing up area and the toilets.

CHILDREN
Parents or Guardians are responsible for their children’s actions and their safety at all times whilst on-site.
1. We understand that children may be excited at being away from home but would emphasise that there should be no noise before 7am or after 10pm, in order to minimise disturbance to others.
2. Children under the age of 16 years must not be left unattended in the park. Parents are asked “to watch their children at all times and NOT!! allow them to play in or around the amenity block or damage property.
3. Children under the age of 12 years must be accompanied by a parent/guardian when using the amenity block and should be supervised by a responsible adult when using park facilities, not only for there own safety but to regulate behaviour.
4. Please respect other campers pitches and do not cut across them or let your children play in or around them or leave their property i.e. bicycles lying around.

PETS
Pets are welcome but the following conditions apply:
1. Small children should not be left in control of the family dog(s).
2. Never leave your dog tethered or on a long lead outside your caravan/tent, when unoccupied or leave a pet in your caravan, awning or vehicle for long periods of time.
3. Dog owners must ensure their pet does not cause an annoyance to other campers.
4. All dogs must be kept on lead.
5. All dogs excrement must be cleaned up; doggy bags are available from reception if needed.

JACUZZI
Only a maximum of 5 people are allowed in the jacuzzi at any one time. No children under 7 years are allowed in the jacuzzi. Please shower before entering the jacuzzi. No food or drink are allowed to be consumed whilst in the jacuzzi.

VEHICLES
Only one car per pitch is allowed and a pass must be shown in the window at all times. You must inform us of your car registration details upon arrival to the park for security reasons. Drivers are asked to drive safely at all times round the one-way system bearing right. Please note that there is a 5mph speed limit as soon as you have entered through the main gate. All vehicles must have on show our parking permit, which can be obtained from Reception upon your arrival.

BICYCLES
Bicycle riders must give way to other pedestrians.

RESTRICTED ACTIVITIES
NO!! Ball games.

NOISE / BEHAVIOUR
We expect everyone to have courtesy, respect and consideration at all times to other campers. Excessive noise, bad language and intimidating behaviour will not be tolerated!! Radios and televisions are to be used considerately during the day and not loud enough to hear outside your caravan, tent, motorhome or vehicles between the hours of 10pm and 7am.

SMOKING
All buildings in the park are non-smoking areas. Please extinguish your cigarette and dispose of appropriately.

ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES
If any illegal substances are discovered the police will be called to deal with the matter immediately.

GAZEBOS
Are not allowed to be used on-site.

FIRE SAFETY
Open fire pits of any description are not allowed. All caravans should have their own re extinguisher.
IN EVENT of FIRE in a Caravan or Amenity Block:
1. Ensure the premises are evacuated.
2. Raise the alarm: call the fire brigade.
3. Assemble in the children’s play area.

WI-FI
There is a separate WiFi password for the campsite area and the manor house facilities. The site password can be found on the information board on the outside of the Toilet Block by the Gents Toilets, whilst the one for the manor house facilities can be found in the bar, library and games rooms.

GROUND SHEETS
Only breathable ground sheets are permitted.

WATER SUPPLIES
Please make sure that all taps and showers are turned-off after usage. If you notice any leaks, please report it to reception.

LAUNDERETTE
There is a sink available for hand washing clothes – please do not use it for any other purpose. There are coin-operated appliances available for use: an iron and hair dryer at 20p per usage; a tumble dryer and washing machine at £4 and £5 respectively. The tumble dryer and washing machines accept the following coins: 10p, 20p, 50p and £1 and are straightforward to use – the left payment box is for the washing machine and the right payment box for the tumble dryer. Please clean out the filter (situated just in the doorway) of the tumble dryer after each use and put any lint/puff in the bin provided.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
The party leader (the named person who booked and signed the registration forms) is responsible for ensuring that other members of their party abide by the terms and conditions as provided; this includes any visitors, pets or children.

PLEASE FAMILIARISE ALL OF YOUR PARTY WITH THE SITE RULES!!
Failure to comply with the RULES and REGULATIONS contained herein will result in appropriate action being taken, i.e.:
1. Verbal warning.
2. Formal notice to leave the site.
3. Refusal of any further bookings.

Should you experience any problems or have any queries during your stay, a member of staff will be glad to help.

VISITORS TO THE PARK
Should remember to:
1. Plan ahead and prepare.
2. Dispose of waste properly.
3. Respect and have consideration for others.
